Sarah is an associate attorney at the Powell Firm. She leads the litigation team, which focuses in general civil, estate and probate, and personal injury matters.

Sarah is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. While attending law school, Sarah was an accomplished moot court advocate and member of the Editorial and Managing boards of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. She competed and placed in several appellate advocacy competitions, including winning her school’s 2022 Intramural Moot Court Competition, placing as Finalist and earning the award for Best Brief in the 2023 Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Competition, and placing as a Regional Finalist and Top-Ten Oral Advocate in the 2024 American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition. In addition to academics, Sarah interned with the Athens-Clarke County Probate Court and worked part-time with a local Athens law firm throughout law school.

Sarah graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2021, with a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, in International Business and Marketing.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing tennis, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
